This series is designed to make available to a wider readership selected studies drawing on the work of the OECD Tourism Committee (www.oecd.org/cfe/tourism). OECD Tourism papers address issues such as trends and policies, innovation, sustainability, skills and statistics.

OECD Tourism Trends and Policies, published biennially, analyses key policy and governance reforms in tourism. It builds on the work of the OECD Tourism Committee, within the OECD Centre for Entrepreneurship, SMEs, Regions and Cities (CFE). The report is an international reference and benchmark on how effectively countries are supporting competitiveness, innovation and growth in tourism. .

This database contains data on tourism indicators related to domestic travel, international travel, employment and economic data. Tourism can be regarded as a social, cultural and economic phenomenon related to the movement of people outside their usual place of residence.
