Background

In February 2017, the Fund Management approved the Copyright Compliance Policy, which formalized the commitment of the IMF to respect the protections that are given by copyright law, and to conform to the requirements of various license agreements for data and publications.

This research guide contains tools to help staff understand the basic principles of copyright. It provides practical steps for legally using text, data, and images in internal and external publications, blogs, social media, and other communications. There are materials from presentations at the Fund, as well as videos and guides.

Staff should send questions to the copyright mailbox, copyright@imf.org
