IP Presentation, June 2016 Print Page

On June 8, 2016, CSF (Multimedia and the Joint Library) and the Legal Department at the IMF sponsored a seminar, Protect Yourself & the Fund: Understanding Intellectual Property Risks.

The seminar provided practical guidance for managing the legal issues involved in creating content for internal and external communications. Intellectual Property law expert David Wittenstein addressed how to legally use data and images in reports and presentations, what constitutes "fair use" of copyrighted material, copyright for material created by staff members, and more.

In this guide you will find materials from the presentation, and resources and people to contact for help with intellectual property at the Fund.
